Pearl Haven Instructors
Tracy Gray-Pearl, Head Instructor, has worked with children and youth from many backgrounds. She is a CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) certified and insured Level 2 Western and Level 2 English instructor. She has worked for the last 10 years breeding, raising and training Quarter horses at her family's ranch in BC's amazing Cariboo. Tracy lives in Gibsons with her 2 children.
Our English coach and trainer, Hilary Trollip, was born and raised in BC, has 17 years of horse experience, from trail riding to the competion ring. She`s spent that last 10 years working at 'A' circuit show barns in Texas, New York, Florida, California and Kansas. Hilary is an adult amateur hunter champion, has schooled many baby green & pre green hunters to the competition ring, and shown jumpers up to 4`6. Hilary is working towards getting her certification as an English Coach.
Kayla Cottrell has more than 6 years of showing. She trained/rode with some of the Top Trainers in Canada, has numerous awards in AQHA (english and western) and is an accomplished Barrel Racer. Kayla is currently in the process of certifying as a Western Instructor.
We also have assistant instructors with specific areas of interest who help out with group lessons, pony clubs and summer camps.
